Palomar Heights will be a 510-home, 13.8-acre urban infill development in the city of Escondido, California. Palomar Heights will include 162 townhomes, 258 market rate apartments, 90 senior apartments and over 6,000 square feet of retail offerings.
Palomar Heights will set the tone for Downtown Escondido as there are limited new communities in the market. The project is designed to attract a wide range of residents, including young single professionals, growing families and senior residents. As the plans for the Grand Avenue transformation take shape in Escondido, Palomar Heights will be the premier place to live near all of the exciting downtown shops, restaurants and bars.
Shared amenities will bring the community together, and a corner commercial node, or “Icon Building,” will draw residents and shoppers from Downtown Escondido into the community. The modern Icon Building will feature a rooftop, open-air wine bar and a fourth-level open-air restaurant, both open to the public. Resident amenities located throughout the community include a pool, spa, bocce ball court, dog park, dog washing station, BBQ and lounge area and more.
This project is planned to begin construction in 2022.
